Shelties in the Irises

Mom loves her irises, but never seems to get pictures of them. This weekend Dad got a double bonuse. He took pictures of her irises in bloom and caught us, too. She was very pleased with his creative shots.

  7. Yes, very nice. It reminds me of formal wedding portraits in the garden only with beautiful dogs.

  10. Shortly after we moved here Mom visted almost every garden club plant sale for several years building her perennials. Relatives donated some Iris, Lilies, and Hosta to get them started. She now is in a position to split plants and share with others.

Years like this when health issues are a problem, she still has amazing plants even when she and Dog Dad may not end up getting out to do everything that needs doing.

She is still plotting how to get her veggies in this year.
